Jack Edward (Hoss) Lamb, Jr. 50, of Dillard, Georgia., died Sunday March 6, 2011 at Heritage Health Care Toccoa, Georgia.
He was born in Fort Jackson, South Carolina., July 9, 1960, to Irene Fountain Lamb, and the late Jack Edward Lamb. He was Baptist by Faith and worked as a Mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Edward Lamb, Sr, maternal grandparents, Thomas and Vassie Fountain, and paternal Grandparents, Floyd and Helen Alexander Lamb.
He is survived by his loving mother, Irene Fountain lamb, of Dillard, GA., one brother, Robert Lamb, of Dillard, GA., one sister, Kathy Brody, of Trinidad, California., and three very special friends, Lonzo, Polly and Clint Bowling all of Buckhorne, KY. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
The body has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held Thursday March 10, 2011 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Thomas Burrell Officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday March 10, 2011 from 5 P.M. until the Service hour.
The family is at their respective residences.
