Irene Crump Coalley, 76, Clayton, Ga.


Irene Crump Coalley, 76, of Tiger, Ga., died in Habersham County Medical Center Tuesday November 17, 2009.
Born in Rabun County, Ga. September 18, 1933, she was the daughter of the late W. Harrison Crump and Lizzie Blair Crump. She was the widow of Dexter T. Coalley. She was a beautician and was a lifetime member of the VFW. Auxillary. She was a member of the Tiger United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Eddie Williams and Terry Coalley and by one brother, R.M. Crump and by one sister, Victoria Alley. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Dale and Gale Coalley of Tiger; one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and James Darnell of Tiger. One brother William Crump of Tiger, and one sister, Sarah Lovell of Homer, Ga. Seven Grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Several nephews, nieces, and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday November 20, 2009 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cannon and Rev. James E. Turpen officiating. Burial will be in Rabun Memory Park.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday night November 19, 2009.
The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and James Darnell on Huckleberry Lane, Tiger, Ga.
