Irene Grabowski Barnes, 91, of Kaolin Lane, Tiger, Georgia, died Saturday night December 8, 2012 at the Traces of Tiger.
Born in Chicago, Illinois., January 27, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Ophelia Grabowski. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in ST. Petersburg, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bennett Barnes. She is survived by two daughters; Beverly Woodard of Clayton, GA., and by Jackie Provance Capps of Tiger, GA. and one son, Robert Barnes of Clayton, GA. Six grandchildren, one great grandchild and one great-great grandchild also survives.
The body has been cremated and no services planned at this time.
