Howard Stanley York

Howard Stanley York, age 78, of Dillard, GA passed away on October 24, 2024. Howard was the son of the late John Howard York and the late Sarah Moore York. Howard enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching sports. Howard enjoyed selling antiques and NASCAR at Rabun Flea market.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Terry York.

Howard is survived by one daughter, Gina York of Loganville, GA; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three brothers, Rudy York of Crition, KY, Doyle York and wife Vicki of Rabun Gap, GA, and Robert York of Rabun Gap, GA; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 3:00 pm with Rev. Cale Stancil officiating. Immediately after the service burial will take place at Wolffork Baptist Church Cemetery.
