Howard Coan

Howard Winston (Butch) Coan, 70, of Sky Valley Way in Dillard, Georgia., died Saturday Evening, April 25, 2015 at his residence.

Born in Harrisonburg, Virginia., May 14, 1944. He was the son of the late Frank Perry Coan, Sr., and Mary Kanney Coan. He worked in management in Sky Valley for a long time and was of the Baptist Faith.

Butch was preceded in death, besides his parents, by two sisters, Sandra Coan McClure and Dorthea Coan Davis and is survived by two brothers, Frank Perry Coan, Jr., of Gainesville, GA., and John Coan of the Philippines. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The body has been cremated and a memorial Service will be at 11:30 A.M. Saturday May 2, 2015 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home by Rev. Tommy Childress, with a Celebration of Life at his residence following the service. The family is at their respective residences.
