Herbie Lee Eller 86, Cartersville


Herbie Lee Eller, 86, of Cartersville, GA, formerly of Clayton, GA, husband of Elise Welch Eller, died Thursday, January 10, 2008 in Heartland Hospice House in Cartersville, GA.
Born August 1, 1921 in Rabun County, he was a son of the late John G. and Rachel Lear Addis Eller. Mr. Eller was a retired Aircraft Technician and he was a member of the Woodstock Masonic Lodge # 246, the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers Union, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Harmony Grove Baptist Church in Marietta, GA.
Survivors include his wife; Elise Welch Eller of Cartersville, GA, four sons; Rev. Randy Eller of Dallas, GA, Joe Eller of Cartersville, GA, Jeff Eller of Kingston, GA, and Edward Eller of Rancho Cucamonga, California, three daughters; Annettia Armstrong of San Jose, California, Bobbie Murdock of Dallas, GA, and Beatrice Louise Eller of Cartersville, GA, 16 grandchilren, and 16 great-grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Eller was preceded in death by a daughter; Leila Mae Littrell, one brother, Johnny, and two sisters, Leila and Althea.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 12, 2008, at 2 PM from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Eller and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Welch Family Cemetery, Clayton, GA.
The Family is at the home of a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Beadie and and Suzanne Welch on Leafwood Lane, in Clayton.
The Family will receive friends at Hunter Funeral Home from 6 until 9 PM Friday January 11, 2008.
