Hazel Towe Cobb, 77, Clayton, Georgia


Hazel Towe Cobb, 77, of Cobb Lane in the warwoman Community, Clayton, Georgia died Saturday night August 14, 2010 in Mountain Lakes Medical Center.
Born in Oconee County, SC. December 13, 1932 she was the daughter of the late George H. Towe and Cleo Holmes Towe. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Clayton, Georgia.
Mrs Cobb was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth R. Cobb and by a grandson, Jason S. Cobb and is survived by her husband, Furman D. Cobb SR. of the home. And by two Sons, Furman D. Cobb, JR of Clayton, GA. and Jeffery Lee Cobb of Clarkesville, GA. Two daughters, Wanda Holbrooks of Long Creek, SC. And Angie Cobb of Clayton, GA. One brother, Glen Towe, of Tennessee one sister, Louise Miller, Westminster, SC. Twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great grand children and one great- great grandchild also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 4:00 P.M. Monday August 16, 2010 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Oliver Rice officiating. Burial will be in the Plesant hill Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral home where family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. (The Funeral Hour) Monday August 16, 2010.
The family is at their respective residences.
