Harvey (Lawton) Brown, 50, of Carnesville, Georgia., formerly of Clayton, husband of Charlene Brown, died Thursday March 10, 2011 at his residence in Carnesville, Georgia.
Born in Rabun County Georgia November 21, 1960, he was the son of Jimmy L. and Betty Jo Brown. He worked in the Tree Service industry as a Forman for 27, years. He was an avid outdoorsman and was Baptist by faith.
Lawton is survived by his loving wife, Charlene Brown of the home; and by a son, Carl Andrew Brown, of Martin, GA., parents, Jimmy and Betty Brown, of Clayton, GA., three sisters, Marie Gillespie and her husband, Larry of Clayton, GA., Bea Anderson and her husband, Murray of Woodstock, GA., Karen Brown and Companion, Randy Barnett of Clayton, GA., and two special Nieces, Heather Gillespie and Ansley Anderson., several cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be Saturday March 12, 2011 at 5:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey Conner officiating.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Saturday March 12, 2011 from 3:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
The body will be cremated after the service at the respect of his wishes.
The family is at the home of his sister, and brother-in-law Marie and Larry Gillespie in the Kingwood Community.
