Harrison O'Shields

Harrison O’Shields,. Jr., 63, of Turpin Street, Tiger, Georgia., died Monday December 2, 2013 in Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton, Georgia.

He was born in Rabun County March 27, 1950 to Mary Beasley and Harrison O’Shields, Sr. He worked in maintence at the Dillard House for a number of years and was of the Baptist Faith.

Junior was preceded in death by an Infant daughter, Emily O’Shields and by two brother Roy Beasley and James O’Shields, and is survived by his mother Mary Beasley O’Shields, of Clayton, GA; three sons, Mitchell O’Shields (Theresa) of Otto, NC., Sam O’Shields (Theresa) of Dagsboro, DE and Ray O’Shields (Teresa) of Pigeon Forge, TN., one sister, Viola Beasley of Mt. City, GA., nine grandchildren; Anna O’Shields, Tucker O’Shields, Abigail O’shields, Savannah O’Shields, Parker O’Shields, Emily Ivy, Preston O’Shields, and Austin O’Shields,Jeffrey O'Sheilds.

Funeral Services will be at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home Thursday December 5, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. With Rev. Chris Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Joy Baptist Cemetery, Lakemont, Georgia.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Wednesday December 4, 2013 from 6 to 8 P.M. The family is at their respective residences.
