Harold Lanier Vickers, of Gainesville, Georgia died Monday, October 31, 2011, at Mountain View Health Care in Clayton, Georgia.
JoAnne, Kendra, and family would like to thank Dr. Miriam Gentin for her many years of loving support and dedicated care for Harold. Also, special thanks to the staff of Mountain View Healthcare who loved Harold, and supported him and his family in his effort to rehabilitate and for their kindness and generosity during his declining health. They became part of our family over the past year. The family would like to thank Dr. Easterling for her care during at Mountain View. JoAnne and Kendra give special thanks to Nora Findley, Registered Nurse. JoAnne, Kendra, and family would like to thank everyone for keeping them in their thoughts and prayers during their time of need.
Harold was a special person with a kind heart and gentle manner. A special service will be announced at a later date for his memorial. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Diabetes Association, Emory Transplant Center: Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Program, or The American Cancer Society in Harold’s Memory.
