Gladys Addis 83, Tiger , Ga.


Gladys Ruby Pless Addis, 83, of Lava Lane, Tiger, GA. widow of Clyde Addis, died February 18 , 2009 at the home of her niece in Toccoa, GA. Born in White County, Ga. October 23, 1925, to the late Alvin Frank and Clara Bell Smith Pless, she was a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Health Care Industry, and a member of the Mountain City Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses .
She is survived by one daughter; Martha A. Beck of Clayton, GA, four sons and three daughters-in-law, Clifton and Patricia Addis of Lakemont, Ga., Nathaniel and Aileen Addis of Evans, Ga. , Allen and Diana Addis of Tiger, Ga. and Michael Addis of Tiger , Ga., two brothers , Robert Pless, of West Pelzer, South Carolina and Frank Pless of Toccoa, Ga. two sisters, Elsie McGahee of Woodstock, Ga. , Louise Marcus, of Toccoa , Ga. seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive .
Memorial services will be at Two O’clock P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mountain City, Ga. with Scot Roberge officiating.
Family is at the home of the son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Diana Addis on Old 441 South in Tiger, Ga. Where friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday , February 20 ,2009.
