Gerald Russell Williams Sr., 66 , of Tallulah Falls , Ga. died Thursday March 19 , 2009 at Habersham County Medical Center .
Gerald was born in Hinsdale , ILL . on June 16 , 1942 to the late Walter F. and Minnie Mable Helayne Williams and lived most of his life in Rabun County , Ga. he was a member of the Wolfcreek Baptist Church and a Supervisor for Field Dale Farms for many years and was a member of the Airborne division of the U.S Army .
Gerald was the last member of his immediate family he was preceded in death by two brothers ; William L. Williams and Robert (Bob) Williams and is survived by his wife , Barbara Scott Williams of the home , two sons ; Gerald Russell Williams Jr. of Tallulah Falls , Ga. and Roger Williams and his wife Cathy of Otto , North Carolina .Also surviving him is one grandson , Tyler Williams .
Funeral Services will be held at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home on Saturday March 21, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Jewell Gaines officiating. Burial will be in the Tallulah Falls Cemetery.
The body is at the Funeral Home where family will receive friends on Friday March 20, 2009 from 6 to 8 P.M.
