George Rodney Henslee 59, Clayton, Ga.


George Rodney Henslee, 59, of Clayton, Ga. and affectionately known as (Roscoe) died Thursday June 4, 2009 at his home.
Born in Rabun County, April 5, 1950 he was the son of George Henslee of Clayton and the late Edith McDonald Henslee who died in 2009. He had lived much of his life in Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by a son, George Edward Henslee, and is survived by his father, George Henslee of Clayton, Ga. One son, Steven Henslee, of Commerce, Ga. one daughter, Angela Henslee of Toccoa, Ga. Three brothers, Claude, Ronald Henslee and Brian Henslee all of Clayton, Ga. And two sisters, Pat Dunham And Jeannie Moore both of Clayton. Also seven grandchildren.
The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held Saturday June 13, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Thomas Burrell. Family will receive friends from 3 to 4 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
