Geneva Lucille Gabrels

Geneva Lucille Scott Gabrels, 88, of Tallulah Falls, GA, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born August 24, 1931 in Rabun County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Fred Scott and Viola Magness. She spent her life in Rabun County where she worked as a housekeeper at LaPrades. She was also of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, Fred and Viola Scott, by her husband, George W. Gabrels, a daughter, Vickie Doorley, brothers, W.R. Scott, Boyce Scott and Billy Scott and by sisters, Leonea Burrell, Carolyn Eller, Frances Woodall, Judy Woodall, and Jewel Cheek. She is survived by one sister, Barbara Williams of Lakemont, GA, and by two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00am at Tallulah Falls Cemetery with Rev. Ted Petaccio and Rev. Jewel Gaines officiating.

The family is at the home of her granddaughter on Viola Circle in Tallulah Falls.
