Geneva Aycock

Geneva Hopper Aycock, 76, of Rabun Gap, GA died Wednesday night June 26, 2013 at Mountain View Health Care, Clayton, GA. She was the widow of Jadie Clifford Aycock.

Born in Rabun Gap, GA, March 19, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John J. Hopper and Mary Burrell Hopper. She was a clerk in Roses Stores for a long time and was a member of Betty’s Creek Baptist Church. She had lived most of her life in Black Mountain, NC and Rabun County, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by a brother, David Randolph Hopper and by a sister, Barbara Jane Cabe. She is survived by a brother, Gordon Hopper of Rabun Gap, GA, several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 12:00 noon at The Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Ronia Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 PM in the Black Mountain Memorial Park Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC with Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon (the Funeral hour) Saturday, June 29, 2013. The family is at their respective residences.
