Franklin Walter Beacham, 75, of Hollifeld Conn. Tiger, GA., died Monday July 30, 2012 at Mountain View Health Care in Clayton.
Born in Gaston, Tennessee November 22, 1936, he was the son of the late Walter and Anna Louise MacCrosson Beacham. He was a nature photographer. He served in the U.S. Navy between Korea and Vietnam era and was of the Presbyterian Faith.
He was preceded in death by a son, Spc. Mark Edward Beachum (U.S. Army).
He is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Diane Beacham of the home, one daughter, Stacey Hill of Richmond, MI., one sister, Doris Higgins of Charleston, SC., and three grandchildren Connor Hill, Deven Hill and Autumn Hill.
His body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at the Boggs Mountain Baptist Church Sunday August 12, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. conducted by Rev. John Clark. Friends may visit with family after the service until 4:00 P.M.
