Frank McCrackin

Frank McCrackin, age 89, of Tiger, GA, peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. Born on September 29, 1934, he was the son of the late Julius McCrackin and Bessie Smith McCrackin. Frank proudly served two years in the United States Army.

A dedicated member of Tiger Baptist Church, Frank faithfully served as a deacon for many years. He found great joy in tending to his farm and caring for his beloved cattle.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Carolyn Welborn McCrackin, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Annie McCrackin Welborn, Horace McCrackin, Ruby McCrackin, Jim McCrackin, and Ruth Taylor.

A funeral service in celebration of Frank's life will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Tiger Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Tim Hunnicutt. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Frank will be laid to rest at Tiger Cemetery following the service.
