Flossie Mae Wilbanks, 80 , of Clayton, Ga. , formely from Toccoa , Ga. passed away , Wednesday March 9 , 2016 at Mt. View. Flossie worked a many of years for the Stephens County School System as a Janitor and was of the baptist faith.
Flossie was born in Stephens County, Ga. and was the daughter of the late John Lewis McCroskey and Lula McCroskey. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister and best friend , Virgina Jenkins, and by one brother , John C. McCroskey and is survived by , two sons Danny McCroskey, Clayton,Ga. , and Timothy Wibanks , Toccoa , Ga. , three daughters, Melissa Wilkes (Richard), of Clayton , Tammy Turpin (Mike) , Clayton, and Wanda Garrett of Toccoa , two brothers , Benny McCroskey, Toccoa, Ga. , Bobby McCroskey , Toccoa , Ga. , and one sister Carolyn Carter, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews and cousins also surviving.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday March 13, 2016 at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home at 2:00 pm., with the Rev. Jeff Hawkins, Rev. Tony Drinnon officiating , burial will be in the Turpin Family Cemetery on Sandy Ford Rd, in the Warwoman Community.
The body is at the Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to our Eastside Chapel ,where family will receive friends , the evening of Saturday March 12, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm , The family is at the home of her daughters on Warwoman Rd.
