Ethel Vavalee Runion, 76, Morganton, NC.


Ethel Runion 76, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Magnolia Lane in Morganton. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Runion, a son Wally Runion, her father Jim Campbell, and sister Evelyn Poteat.
She is survived by her mother Ruth Campbell, two daughters Alice Olin and her friend Randall Deal, Ruthie Webb and her husband David, two sons Bobby Helms and Mary Lou Willis and Johnny Helms and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her brothers Wayne Campbell and his wife Frances, Bruce and wife Betty, Bob and wife Patsy, Tom and wife Margaret, Ernest and wife Alice, Leon and wife Renee, and her sisters Jane Lawing and her husband Ed, Brenda Arnett and her husband Buster. She was a member of Laurel Haven Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at Laurel Haven Baptist Church Morganton, NC at 5:00 Thursday February 9, 2012 and Saturday February 11, 2012 2:00 at Bethel Baptist Church Tiger, Georgia.
