Ellen Lea (Watts) Clevenger, 83, Clayton, GA.


Ellen Watts Clevenger, 83, of the Bridge Creek Community, Tiger, Georgia, died Saturday night April 23, 2011 in Heritage Health Care of Toccoa in Toccoa, Georgia.
Born in Crabtree, North Carolina March 18, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Ethel Baker Watts, and had lived the greater part of her life in Ohio. She was a retired public School teacher in the Ohio School System she was a member of the Rocky Grove Baptist Church and was a member of American Association of University Women; a member of the western Ohio woodworkers club and a volunteer of the cancermont hospice service.
She is survived by two sons, Bruce Patrick Clevenger of Aloha, OR., and Larry Steven Clevenger of Independence, KY., one daughter, Laurie Anne Demsey of Germantown, MD. Two sisters, Delilah (Dolly) Pitts of Rabun Gap, GA. and Evely Mobley of Marietta, GA., five grandchildren also survive.
The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a latter date.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the community of Bridge creek for their help, prayers and continued support.
