Elise Armeita Fields affectionately known as “MAMAW” age 80 , of Clayton , Ga. died Thursday March 5 , 2009 in Mtn. Lakes Medical Center .
Born in Rabun County , Ga., Dec. 21 , 1928 and was the daughter of the late James Lucas Donaldson and Elizabeth Dotson Donaldson. . She was of the Methodist faith and was a waitress in many restaurants through out the area as well as a full-time mom.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Pierce Fields and is survived by six sons and one daughter-in-law , Anthony “Tony” Dee Ledford , Avon Park , Florida , John Benjamin Fields , Clayton , Ga. , Robert and his wife Toni Fields of Clayton , Jason Rock Fields , Easton , Pa. , Douglas Alexander Fields , Douglasville , Ga. and Michael Mayton Fields , Spotsylvania , Va. And three daughters and a son-in-law ; Bobbie Lynn Fields , Clayton , Ga., Peggy and her husband Russell James , Scaly Mtn. North Carolina and Scottie Fields of Clayton , Ga. one brother , Harold Donaldson of Pontiac , Mich. And one sister , Juanita Kilby of Mtn. City , Ga. Fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. , Sunday March 8 , 2009 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Kilby and Rev. Madison McCrakin officiating . Burial will be in the Rabun Memory Park .
The body is at the Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday March 7 , 2009 . The family will be at the home on Dunlap St., Clayton , Ga.
