Edna Faye Lyons Wall, 89, of Highway 76 West, Clayton, Georgia., died Monday November 14, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Hallett, Oklahoma. August 25, 1922, she had lived in Rabun County for the last thirty years, plus. She had retired as a grocery clerk in super markets and attended the Clayton Church of God. She was the last member of her immediate family.
“Miss” Edna was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph Franklin Lyons and Lillian Loveday Lyons. And by her husband, James Earl Wall. She was also preceded in death by a son Larry Bruce Wall, Sr., by three brothers; Frank Lyons, James Lyons and Elvin Lyons and by a sister, Elsie Lyons Kidroski., and is survived by one son, Gary Wall of Clayton, GA. Two daughters, Sandra Tyndall and Donna Tarver both of Clayton, GA. Ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, several nephews, neices and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday November 17, 2011 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the Pickett Cemetery with Rev. Brian Alexander conducting the service.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M Wednesday November 16, 2011.
