Edmund Charles Ulinsky, 89, of Rabun Gap, GA, died Saturday October 13, 2018 at his residence after a long illness.
Born in Fairlawn, New Jersey, January 13, 1929, he was the son of the late Edward J. Ulinsky and Helen Balsis Ulinsky. He was the husband of Etta Ione Ulinsky.
Edmund was a retired police officer with the state of Florida. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a Catholic. He was also a police officer with the New Jersey State Police. He was a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a degree of bachelor science. He also had a certificate of municipal basic police course of New Jersey State Police Training Bureau and serviced as an officer in New Jersey before moving to Florida. He belonged to PBA Mutual Society.
He is survived by his wife, Etta Ione Fillmon Ulinsky of the home, by a son, Michael Ulinsky of Tucson, AZ, by two daughters, Nancy Errico of Bradenton, FL, Linda Smith of Sarasota, FL and a step-daughter, Debra Turpin of Rabun Gap, GA. Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
The body has been cremated and by his request no services are to be made. The family is at the home. The family asks that memorial donations be made, in his memory, to Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter, Suite 400, Mclean, VA 22102.
