Dwight Allgary

Dwight Charles Allgary, Sr., 65, of Rabun Gap, GA., died Wednesday January 10, 2018 at his home.

Dwight was born in Jacksonville, Florida November 3, 1952 the son of the the late William L. Allgary and Fraizer Wall Allgary. He was the husband of Shelby Griffs Allgarry .and was a retired Carpenter with Smith Builders.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Frazia Wall Allgary and by brothers, Ronald H. Allgary Larry Allgary and Edward Allgary and by a sister, Wilhelmina Allgary and is survived by his wife, Shelby Griffis Allgary, of the home, three sons, Dwights Charles Allgary, Jr. (Tammy) of Rabun Gap, GA., Ronald S. Allgary and companion, Charley Malaney of Rabun Gap, GA., and James F. Allgary, (Amy) of Clarkesville, GA., one daughter, Corina Allgary and her companion, Keith Smith of Rabun Gap, GA. Four brothers, William (Billy) Allgary of Macon, GA., David Allgary of Gainesville, GA., Lester Allgary of Jacksonville, FL., and Sammy Allgary of Rabun Gap, GA. Five sisters, Ruth Murphy of Yulee, FL., Wanda Smith of Jacksonville, FL., Hilda Roweand Betty Francis both of Seymour, TN., and Barbara Hopper of Rabun Gap, GA. Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren, several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00pm, Saturday January 13, 2018 with services at 1:00pm at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Tim Wall officiating. Burial will be in the Taylor’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Eastside Chapel from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with services at 1:00 P.M. The family is at their respective residences.
