Dovie Gragg

Dovie Duckett Gragg , 80 , of West Wolf Creek Rd. , Lakemont , GA. died Friday morning July 15 , 2016.

Born in Pickens , South Carolina Feb. 13 , 1936 , She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Etta Smith Duckett. She was the widow of Rev. Donald Gragg.

Dovie was a retired X-Ray Technician at Rabun County Hospital and Ridgecrest Hospital. She was a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church.

Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by twin sons, David and Donald P. Gragg and by brothers , Ralph Duckett and Billy Ray Marcus , and is survived by three daughters , Gail Little (Mark) of Rabun Gap, GA. , Phyllis Gragg (Danny) of Burlington , N.C. , Rena Carpenter (Ervin) of Lakemont ,GA. . Two sisters , Ruth Watts of Lakemont, GA. , Dorothy Cheek of Aiken , S.C. Five grandchildren , Angela , Melissa , Donnie , Rebecca , and Kristie. Seven great grandchildren also suvive.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday July 17 , 2016 at the Flat Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Thomas Burrell. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be Saturday evening , July 16 , 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

The family is at the home of her sisters, Ruth Watts on Dovie Lane, Lakemont, Ga.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made , in her memory , to Hunter Funeral Home P.O. Box 653 , Clayton , GA. 30525, to aid in funeral expenses.
