Douglas Wayne Hamel, 47, of Sweet Sue Drive, Clarkesville, Georgia., in the died Friday April 23, 2010 at his residence.
Born July 14, 1962 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts., he was the son of the late Arthur P. Hamel and Ruth Wheeler Hamel. He was a chicken Farmer for Pilgrims Pride and was a Baptist by Faith.
He was preceded in death by a brother Richard Pinneo, and by a sister Marie Wheeler, and is survived by his beloved companion, Terry Hall of the home. One son, Austin Hall of Clarkesville, GA., his parents Ruth and Oren Pinneo of Canan, VT., two brothers, Sonny Hamel of Clarkesville, GA., and Melvin Pinneo of Tiger, GA., seven sisters, Desirae Watts of Clayton, GA., Cindy Rodriquez of FT. Lauderdale, FL., Arlene McDonald of Clayton, GA., Corina Pinneo of Fitchburg, Mass., Andrea Scott of Winchendon, Mass., Cathy Sides of South Carolina., Peggy Pinneo Fitchburg Mass.
Funeral Service will be at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday night April 28 2010 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Smith and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 5:30 P.M. to 7 P.M. Wednesday April 28 2010. Cremation will follow the 7 P.M. service.
The family is at the home on Sweet Sue, Drive Clarkesville, GA.
Family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hunter Funeral Home P.O. Box 653 Clayton, GA. 30525 for funeral expenses.
