Doug Ellison, 55, of Key Lane, Lakemont, GA, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Ellison was born February 10, 1955 in Henry County, Iowa. He was a son of the late William Lamar and Gladys Stancil Ellison. He was a carpenter by trade and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Jason Ellison of Lakemont, GA; one daughter, Marie Ellison of Westminster, SC; two sisters, Loretta Cannon of Hiawassee, GA, and Delores Ryan of Bridgeton, NJ; three grand children also survive.
The body has been cremated and memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the chapel of the Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Vaughn Stancil and Charles Burnes officiating.
The family is at the home on Key Lane in Lakemont and will receive friends at Hunter Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 2 PM on Sunday, April 18, 2010.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
