Dorothy Ann Gaskins Duncan, 66, Clayton, Ga.


Dorothy Ann Gaskins Duncan, 66, of Dillard, Georgia passed away on September 29, 2009 in Gainesville, Georgia.
Mrs. Duncan was born October 20, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina to parents, John B. and Jamima Ferguson Gaskins. Mrs. Duncan was a retiree of the Georgia Teachers Retirement System as a Special Education Teacher. She received her EDS Degree from West Georgia State University. She was a member of Clayton Baptist Church and the Oasis Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Rick Duncan of the home; two sons, Richard C. Duncan and his wife, Denese, of Radcliffe, Ky; John C. Duncan and his wife, Kim, of Shepherdsville, Ky; six grandsons Caleb, age 20, Levi, age 18, Seth, age 13, Connor, age 8, Matthew, age 6 and Gabriel, age 4.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday October 2, 2009 at the Clayton Baptist Church (MAC Building) with Rev. Joey Thompson officiating. Cremation will follow. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to the Clayton Baptist Church (MAC Building) where family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M. The family is at home on Snowshoe Lane, Dillard, Ga.
