Doris G. Scroggs, 68, of Tiger, Georgia. Widow of Joe Scroggs, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Uni-Health P.A.C. Lanier in Buford, Georgia.
Born September 5, 1942 in Habersham County She was the daughter of Martha Gipson Asherbranner of Demorest, GA. and the late Grady Asherbranner. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Scroggs was preceded in death by a sister Lois Lovell and and a brother, Jim Asherbranner.
Survivors include her mother, Martha Asherbranner of Demorest, GA, one son, Ernie Scroggs of Cornelia, GA, two daughters, Kim Bobo (Darryl) of Cornelia, GA., Samantha McClure (Matthew) of Lakemont, GA. Sisters, Joyce Shook of Lakemont, GA. and Jane Brown of Clayton, GA. brothers, Pete Asherbranner and Bud Asherbranner both of Demorest, GA.
Funeral Services will be at 11: A.M. Tuesday December 28, 2010 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cannon and Rev. Alton Dendy officathing. Burial will follow in the Rabun Memory Park Cemetery
The family is at their respective residences and will receive friends from6 to 8 P.M. Monday December 27, 2010 at Hunter Funeral Home.
