Doris Hooper

Doris Allen Hooper, 72 of Clarkesville, Georgia., died in Landmark Hospital in Athens, Georgia., Friday February 8, 2019.

Born in Clarkesville, Georgia April 29, 1946,she was the daughter of the late Clyde C. Allen and Bonnie Lockman Allen. She was the widow of J.C. Hooper ., Doris was a homemaker and a member of the Cool Springs United Methodist Church in Habersham County.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Hooper, by her parents, Clyde and Bonnie Allen two brothers, Earl Allen and Eugene Allen by two sisters, Louise Sosebee and Ruby Lee Allen and is survived by a son, Josh Hooper of Hoschton, GA., and four grandchildren, twins, Landon and Addison Hooper and Chase and Ansley Hooper. Several nephews and nieces, including one special nephew, Larry Sosebee of Clarkesville, GA., also survive.

The body has been creamated and a memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 16, 2019 at the Cool Springs United Methodist Church in Habersham County, Georgia., with Rev. Austin Kelly officiating.
