Doris Ann Gaines Finley

Doris Ann Gaines Finley, age 78, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

Born on June 7, 1946, in Statesville, North Carolina, Doris was the daughter of the late Otis Gaines and Francis Coggins. She found joy in crafts, sewing, and singing.

Doris is survived by her son, Mark Kirkland of Clayton, GA; her daughter, Lorrilea Allen of Clayton, Georgia; and her three grandchildren, Ariel Carlton, Rose Lamberti, and Calla Carver. She also leaves behind five great-grandchildren: Chance, Corrine, Renee, and Colt Carlton, and Aubree Lamberti. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Louise Nicholson, and her brothers, Raymond Gaines and David Gaines.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Junior, Carl, Paul, and Marvin Gaines.

A memorial service will be announced once arrangements are made.
