Dolly Newsome Murray

Dolly Newsome Murray, 92, of Clayton, GA passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at her home.

Born August 3, 1928 in Glascock, GA, she was the daughter of the late Brady Newsome and Edith Morgan. She lived most of her life in Lakemont, GA and was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Edith Newsome and by her husband Donald Murray. She is survived by two sons Andy and Theresa Murray of Rome, GA and Dana and Teresa Murray of Franklin, NC, a daughter, Bess and Jay Green of Clayton, GA, a brother, Lanson and Faye Newsome of Jenkinsville, GA, two sisters, Ruby and Harold Harbin of Evans, GA and Margaret Smith of Damascus, VA. Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

There will be a graveside service at Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Lakemont, GA on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 11:00am with Rev. Clyde Hampton officiating.

The family will be at the home on Hemlock Lane in Clayton, GA.
