David Anthony Darnell, 61 of Franklin, NC died Thursday December 10, 2009 in Franklin, NC.
David was born November 15, 1948 to John R. “Buck” and Ruth Bingham Darnell. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Virginia Darnell and by brothers, George M. Darnell and Freddie Darnell.
David is survived by his loving long time companion: Wanda Dillard of Franklin, Daughter: Brandie D. Darnell of Tampa, Fl. Brothers: Bill, Jim, Frank, Reid and Wayne Darnell. Sisters: Becky Cannon, Mary Ramey, Patti Gowens and Diane Stowe.
You could always depend on David to bring laughter to all those around him. He never met a stranger. We will all miss his infamous “tootle-loo”.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday December 13, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church with Harvey Conner Officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
Hunter Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.
