Daniel Eugene Watts

Daniel Eugene “Danny” Watts, 76, of Clayton, GA, passed away on December 28, 2024 at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on May 21, 1948, in Rabun County to the late Ralph and Gladys Watts.

Danny was a passionate outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting, shooting, and fishing.

He is survived by his children: Angela Watts Moseley of Lakemont, GA; Amy D. Watts of Clayton, GA; Alton Watts (Tabatha) of Canon, GA; and Annette Watts of Rabun Gap, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Blake Moseley, Cody Moseley, Tori Moseley, Alexis Hilley, Terrell Watts, Braeden Reed, and Brycen Reed; and his great-grandchildren: Ethan Moseley, Oakley Wood, Brady Wood, Everette Hilley, and Hagen Watts.

Additionally, he is survived by his brothers: Ed Watts, Kenneth Watts, Doyle Watts, and Pete Watts; the mother of his children, Diann Brown; his best friends, Dwight Carpenter and Terry Carver; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home, with Shane Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Pickett Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hunter Funeral Home, 423 Warwoman Rd., Clayton, GA 30525.
