Daniel Lanier Lamberth was born on May 12th, 1949, in Dooly County, Georgia. He departed this life for a better one on Saturday, February 8th, 2014. Daniel, we always called him Danny, was the son of Grady Lamberth and Pearl (Kitchens) Lamberth, and they both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Lamberth and his brother-in-law, Lawrence (Barto) Taylor, and many very precious aunts and uncles and cousins. What a homecoming he had with all those sweet and precious family members who have gone on before!
He is survived by his sister Beatrice (Lamberth) Taylor, and his nephews Lawrence (Lonnie) Taylor Jr., Kenneth Taylor, and nieces Nancy Taylor, Davina Taylor, all of Wiley, Georgia. He is also survived by two very special cousins, Wanda Brand of Vidalia, Georgia and Linda Bray of Americus, Georgia. He is also survived by many cousins and friends and neighbors, too numerous to name.
Danny was a man of down home humor and a gentle sprit. He could build things he needed to build, and repair whatever broke down. He was good to help a neighbor and was kind and generous. He fed birds and took in stray animals and cared about the world around him.
He was also a man of faith. He believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and read the scriptures daily. He will be missed by those family and friends who are still alive, and we know we will see him again soon when the Lord returns.
