Daniel C. Buchanan, 33, of Clayton, Georgia, died Thursday July 7, 2011 in New Horizons North, Gainesville, Georgia.
Born in Stephens County, Georgia January 24, 1978, he was the son of the late Walter D. and Claudia Nichols Buchanan. He graduated from Rabun County High School in 1996 and was of the Church of God Faith.
He is survived by one brother, Shawn Buchanan of Clayton, GA., two sisters, Shelby Love of Mountain City, GA., and Shannon Speed of Clayton, GA. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Graveside Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday July 9, 2011, at the Persimmon Community Cemetery with Rev. Roy Conner officiating.
There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home but friends may come by Hunter Funeral Home and visit and sign the guest book between the hours of 1:00 P.M. Friday and 9:00 A.M Saturday July 9, 2011.
The family is at their respective residences.
