Coral Joanne Bivens, 85, Clayton, Ga.


Coral Joanne Bivens, 85, of Buford, Georgia died Sunday November 27, 2009 in Buford. She was the widow of Walter A. Bivens. Mrs. Bivens spent most of her life in Tampa, Florida and her later years were spent in Rabun County, Georgia and Macon County, North Carolina.
She was a tax preparer and was a member of the Franklin, NC art club, and was a member of the Dryman’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by sons; Barry Hopper of Waco, Tx and Alan Hoper of Baton Rouge, La, by daughters, Patti Battle of Buford, Ga. and Diane DeCubellis of Orlando, Fl. Ten Grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 5:00 P.M. Friday December 4, 2009 at the Buford Presbyterian Church at 1242 Buford Highway, Sugar Hill, Georgia, with Rev. Richard Hill Presiding.
Viewing will be at the Church from 4:00 P.M. To 5:00 P.M.
Grave Side Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday December 5, 2009 at the Wright Cemetery (behind Dryman’s Chapel United Methodist Church,) Otto, NC.
