Clyde Leroy

Clyde Alvin Leroy, 64, of Colchester Lane, Mt. City, Georgia., died Thursday March 19, 2015 at Gentiva Hospice in Athens, Georgia.

Born in Oconee, South Carolina., July 2, 1950 he was the son of the late Abrham Anderson Leroy and Margie Sarah Pointer Leroy. He worked for the Dillard House for many years and was of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death besides his parents, by a special companion Mary Webb and is survived one brother, Clarence Leroy (Annette) of Seneca, SC., three sisters, Georgiabell Kid of Toccoa, GA., Gail Alexander (Jimmy) Liberty, SC., and Janice Marcengill (Terry) of West Minster, SC., three step sons, Dean Webb of Rabun Gap, GA., Charles Roberts of Rabun Gap, GA., and Randy Roberts (Becky) of Tiger, GA., three step daughters, Tammy Roberts of Seneca, SC., Angela Roberts of Mt. City., and Tina Elrod of Seneca, SC. Thirty two, step grandchildren and twenty five step great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Sunday March 22, 2015 4:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral home with Rev. Thomas Burrell officiating. The body will be cremated following the service.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and family will receive friends Sunday March 22, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. (the funeral hour). The Family is at their respective residences.
