Cheryl Hunter Hooper

Cheryl Hunter Hooper, age 73, of Clayton, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 24th, 2023 at her residence. 

Cheryl was born on November 16th, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Wade Ronia Hunter and Lillian Garland Hunter. She was married to her loving husband Caney Hooper. 

In addition to her husband she was survived by her siblings, Almetia Hunter McGinnis and husband Greg, Ronia Hunter and wife Eunice, Andy Hunter and wife Deborah, Pamela Crowe and husband Mike, Dena Hunter Wilson and Johnny Church; several nieces, nephews and a special companion, Greta. 

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 27th, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Page officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM prior to the service at Hunter Funeral Home.
