Charles Thomas

Charles Lindbergh Thomas 84, of Mountain City, Georgia., died Tuesday December 25 2012 in Cannonwood Village, Tiger, Georgia.
Mr. Thomas was born on August 5, 1928 in Chambers County Alabama and was a resident of Tampa, Florida and Rabun County Georgia., for most of his life.
He served his country honorably in the US Navy and the US Army being discharged in the 1947. After 30 years he retired from the Greyhound Corp. in 1986 as his Union’s Representative in Tampa, Florida.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Evelyn Law Thomas and his only child, Sheree Lynn, who was killed in an auto accident in 1973; also, his parents Henry Louis Thomas and Velma Kimsey Thomas, his sister, Nellie, his brothers, Henry Jr. Carey and Quintin Thomas.
His survivors include his brother, Harold Thomas, his sisters, Ida Smith, Winnie Scroggs, Gladys Marsingill, Sara Martino, and Blanche Dickerson; brothers –in- law, Robert Dickerson, Wayne, Jimmy, Ted and Albert Law; sister- in- law, Sarah Law Walch and many loving and devoted nieces, nephews and friends. At his request, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
