Charles Foster

Charles Ray Foster, age 75 of Clarkesville, Georgia,  passed away Friday, February 9, 2024. 

He was born Tuesday, December 14, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia, a Son of Donald and Betty Ruth  (Mask) Kirby. He is survived by his loving wife, Monelle Foster whom he was married to for 30 years. 

Charles was a veteran of the United States Army, he served from 1968-1971. He found joy in camping, woodworking, and immersing himself in literature and in reading his Bible. Known for his playful nature, he brought laughter and light to all he encountered through his teasing humor. 

In addition to his wife, Monelle Foster he is survived by his children, Natalie Henderson (Donnie), Kenny Foster (Casey), Shelly Foster, Ray Peters (Marie), and Chris Peters; two sisters, Janet Kirby, and Debbie Hipps (David); six grand children and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald foster and mother Betty Ruth Kirby; brother, Joe Foster, daughter, Stephanie Foster, and granddaughter, Savannah Wood.
