Chance Joseph Calafiore, 10 Month old son of Andy and Jennifer (Calafiore) Owens, died Wednesday July 13, 2001 in Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.
Born in Habersham County Georgia September 4, 2010,he spent most of his short life in Franklin, North Carolina.
He is survived by his parents Andy and Jennifer (Calafiore) Owens, of Franklin, North Carolina., and one sister, Brittany Calafiore of Perry, Fl., Maternal grandfather, Paul Calafiore of Perry, Fl. He was the grandson of the late Connie Theresa Calafiore. Other survivors are paternal grandparents Tony and Jerry Owens of Clayton, Ga., and Judy and Joe Barfield of Gainesville, Ga., his godparents, Mike an Jessie Calafiore of Tiger, Ga., an aunt, Paula Amundsen of Perry Fl., and uncle and aunt, Joe and Linda Calafiore of Ocala, Fl.
Funeral services will be at ST. Helena Catholic Church Tuesday July 19, 2011 by Father Jose Luis at 12:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Frady Family Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and the family is at the home of his grandfather, Tony Owens on Merrydale Lane Clayton, Ga.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
