Cecil Harold Tyler, 80, of Mountain City, Georgia, he died March 18, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Rabun, Georgia June 18, 1930, he was the son of the late Harvey Tyler and Martha Smith. He was the owner of Mountain City screw products and a Baptist by Faith. He was a Veteran who served in the United States Army during the Korean War, an avid outdoorsman, and a coon hunter.
He was preceded in death by a son Harold Douglas Tyler.
He is survived by his wife Emily (Rogers) Tyler, three sons, Travis, Terry, and Ricky Tyler of Mountain City, Georgia, eleven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Monday March 21, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Hunnicutt Officiating. Following the service the body will be cremated and ashes will be buried at Memorial Park on a later date.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Sunday March 20, 2011 from 6-9 P.M.
The family is at the home on Rogers Cove lane, Mountain City, Georgia.
