Cecil Davis

Cecil Garland Davis, 64, of Amanda Drive, Clayton, Georgia., died Tuesday December 30, 2014 in Wilks County Georgia.

Born in Altavista, Virginia., he was the son of Elma Mae Chumley Davis and the late Cecel O. Davis. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry and was a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Ramey (Teeter) Davis of the home, one son, Gary Davis of Martin, GA., one daughter, Amy Leigh Abbot of Bedford, VA., three sisters, Peggy, Bonnie and Patsy and by four grandchildren.

The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 3, 2015 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Kenneth Howell.

A visitation will be at the funeral home Friday January 2, 2015 from 6 to 8 P.M. The family is at the home on Amanda Drive, Clayton, Georgia.
