Carrie Chastain

Carrie Melinda McClain Chastain, 64, of Paradise Lane, Dillard, Georgia died Saturday December 21, 2013 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, Georgia.

She was born in Rabun County March 18, 1949 to J.R. McClain and Della Hopper and lived her life in Rabun County. She was a homemaker and was a member of Betty’s Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters; Bridgette Chapman of Lakemont, GA., Michelle Chastain of Mt. City, GA., and Crystal Whitmire of Dillard, GA. One brother, James McClain of Bartow County, GA. One sister, Lucille McClain of Greenville, SC. Fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The body has been cremated. No memorial service is planned at this time.

The family is at their respective residences.
