Carolyn Betty Gibson Tyler, 76, of Tiger, GA., died Wednesday November 13, 2019 at her residence .She was the widow of Rev. James Jefferson Tyler.

Born in Habersham County Georgia., January 5, 1943 She was the daughter of the late Harrison Gibson and Ethel Ivester Gibson. She was a Seamstress for Don’ L and a member of the Carvers Chapel Baptist Church for over 36 years.

She was preceded in death besides her Husband, Rev. James Jefferson Tyler. And her parents, Harrison Gibson and Ethel Gibson by two brothers, Garnet and Doyle Gibson and by three sisters, Annie Bell Waddell, CoraleeWhitfield and Evelyn Howard and is survived by two sons, Ray Tyler (Pam) and Johnny Tyler both of Clayton, GA., by two daughters, Lorraine Norris (Mike) of Clayton, GA., and Mechell Wall (E.J.) of Tiger, GA., Two brother, Clinton Gibson (Eva) of Toccoa, GA Thurmond an Pasty of Clarkesville Ga., one sister, Wilma Gomez of Habersham, GA., and one sister-in-law, Patsy Gibson of Habersham. Fifteen grandchildren, and thirty great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be at Carvers Chapel Baptist Church Friday November 15, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. With Rev. Allen Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Mountain Cemetery Tallulah Falls, Georgia.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Thursday evening November 14, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. The family is at the home on Tomahawk Lane Tiger, GA. 30576.
