Carlton Lesley Coffee, 50 of Wiley, Georgia., affectingly known as “Cotton” died Saturday March 29, 2014 at his home.
Born in Rabun County March 11, 1964, He was the son of the late Len Coffee and Evelyn Stancil. He lived most of his life in Rabun County. He was an automobile mechanic and attended Boggs Mountain Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother; James Leroy Ramey and is survived by his wife, Kimberlee Baldwin Coffee of the home; four brothers, Douglas Ramey of Elberton, GA., Charles David Ramey of Clayton, GA., Eugene Woodall of Wiley, GA., Gerry Lee Simmons of Mt. City, Georgia. Three Sisters, Catherine Delores Locke of Greenville, SC., Barbara Mae Webb of Tiger, GA., and Patricia Ann Collins of Franklin, NC., several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home Saturday evening April 5, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Joe McCrackin and Rev. Harold Houck officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 7 P.M. (The service hour). The family is at their respective residences.
