Carl Watts Jr., 81, of Old HWY. 441 South, Clayton died Friday April 5, 2013 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of the late Ella Beck Watts.
He was born March 31, 1932, in Clayton, Georgia, to the late V.L. Moore and Eula Watts Moore.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a heavy Equipment Operator and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by three sisters, Inez Watts of Clayton, GA., Alice Wilson of Tiger, GA., and Mary Stancil of New Hampshire and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends also survive.
Funeral Services will be Monday April 8, 2013 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cannon and Rev. Joe McCrackin officiating. Burial will follow in the Stancil Family Cemetery Dud Creek Spur Road Chechero Community.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday April 7, 2013. The family is at the home on old Highway 441 South Clayton.
In lieu of flower memorial donations be made in his honor to Hunter Funeral Home to help aid in funeral expenses.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
