Bruce Youngblood, 71, of Bethel Road, Tiger, GA, husband of Evelyn Coalley Youngblood died Wednesday January 23, 2008 at his residence.
Born October 5, 1936 in Towns County, GA he was a son of the late Lincoln and Ethel Edwards Youngblood. He was employed with the Georgia Game and Fish Division for 9 years, and was an Electrical Technician with Gordon Foods for 10 years and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; Evelyn Coalley Youngblood of the home, two sons and daughters-in-law; Mark Youngblood and wife Michelle of Tiger, GA, and Byron Youngblood and wife Debbie of Clayton, GA, one daughter and son-in-law; Carol Youngblood Harrison and husband Bill of Homer, GA, one sister; Martha Youngblood Gould of Hiawassee, GA, one sister-in-law Roberta Youngblood of Clayton, GA. six grandchildren; Jake Youngblood of Clayton, GA., Luke, Ethan, and Sarah Youngblood of Tiger, GA, Holly and Jenny Harrison of Homer, GA., a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by a brother; D. L. Youngblood.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 26, 2008 at 1 PM from the Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Cranford Carnes and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Burch Cemetery in Hiawassee, GA. with the Rev. Mickey Woods officiating at the graveside.
The family is at the home on Bethel Road, Tiger, GA and will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Friday January 25, 2008 at Hunter Funeral Home.
