Brenda Kay Griffitts

Brenda Kay Griffitts, age 80, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at her home in Clayton, Georgia.

Brenda was born July 06, 1942 in Pickens, Georgia, a daughter Gordan and Bertha Davidson. She was married to the late, Coy Delano Griffitts who passed away in 2005 . Brenda loved Elvis, and throughout the years, she built a collection of his memorabilia. She also enjoyed card games with her loved ones and friends. One of her favorite hobbies in life was her flowers and her plants, and we can't forget her Georgia Bulldogs football. .

She is survived by two children, Helen Booth (Paul) and O C Griffitts; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one sister, Irene Davidson.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023, 2:00 PM at Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Pastor. Waylon Vinson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rocky Grove Community Cemetery in Tiger.
